Transform dull frames with [chromatic gemstones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gemstones) to add an instant pop of color to your home. To make this [gemstone photo frame](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-ai-art-frame) all you need is an unused picture frame, E6000 glue and roughly half a cup of aquamarine Amazonite stones. A bit of the coloring from the original frame will remain visible through the stones. If you don't like the original color of the picture frame you can spray paint it a different hue. Then use the E6000 glue to stick the tiny Amazonite stones along the frame surface. Once the frame has dried add the glass and your favorite photo. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **DIY Crafts:** Expanding trend of DIY crafts provides opportunities for innovative products and techniques. - **Gemstone Decor:** Growing trend of using gemstones in home decor creates opportunities for unique and vibrant products. - **Repurposing:** Rising trend of repurposing old items opens opportunities for creative and eco-friendly projects. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Craft and Hobby:** Craft and hobby industry can capitalize on the trend of DIY crafts and offer new supplies and tools. - **Home Decor:** Home decor industry can introduce gemstone decor pieces and attract customers looking for unique and colorful designs. - **Sustainability:** Sustainability-focused industry can promote repurposing and provide resources for eco-friendly projects and initiatives. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wavy Lined Picture Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ripple-picture-frame.md) - [Picture Framing Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frame-it.md) - [DIY Terrarium Jars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crackyourown-geode-crystal-terrariums.md) - [Chromatic E-Ink Picture Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflection-frame.md) - [Immersive Tablet Picture Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iframix-smart-frame.md) - [Cylindrical Glass Photo Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/filigree-series.md) - [Stone Offcut Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/salvatori-precioso.md) - [Children-Focused Gemstone Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gemstone-advent-calendar.md) - [App-Connected Photo Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wifi-digital-picture-frame.md)
