The [corrugated cardboard chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ruffini) is simply built up with some basic slitted shapes that are simply [slotted together](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nstel-the-chair). It doesn't look that comfortable but children probably won't care because it is so much fun to sit on a chair you made yourself. A small cushion might be a good idea. The best part about this product, besides the quality time spent with children, is that the chair is [completely recyclable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tobifant) once it is outgrown. This is one piece of furniture children would love to draw on with full parental consent! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **DIY Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create more customizable and eco-friendly furniture options for DIY enthusiasts. - **Sustainable Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative and environmentally-friendly materials to create sustainable furniture designs. - **Parent-child Bonding Activities:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design products that encourage interactive and creative experiences between parents and children. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce DIY furniture kits for customers to assemble and personalize their own pieces. - **Eco-friendly Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore sustainable materials and manufacturing processes to create eco-friendly furniture. - **Children's Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop interactive and customizable products that promote creativity and bonding between parents and children. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Chromatic Child Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kidzilla-chair.md) - [Upcycled Waste Material Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cardboard-furniture-design.md) - [Transforming Child Stool Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipflap-childrens-chair.md) - [Cardboard Box Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karton-furniture-collection.md) - [Eco-Friendly Ergonomic Child Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plogic-chair.md) - [Puzzle-Inspired Kids Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palipeli.md) - [DIY Flatpack Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/that-stool.md) - [Simple Assembly Dining Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yugan.md) - [Premium Kids Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/childrens-wishbone-chair.md)
