The pieces are all constructed using birch plywood, Valchromat and ash timber, which give them a certain level of durability when being used to store items or position artwork on display. The furniture system is completely customizable to put a focus on a modular design and is made-to-order in the designer's Manchester-based studio. The 'Display A' furniture collection takes an artistic approach to essential solutions for a space and draws inspiration from the kinds of equipment one might find in an art studio. This will work to enhance the area they're in with a touch of almost utilitarian minimalism. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 95% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Furniture Design:** The 'Display A' furniture collection showcases a minimalist approach to essential solutions for living or working spaces, providing an opportunity for disruption in the furniture industry. - **Modular Design:** The customizable and modular design of the 'Display A' furniture collection presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the interior design sector. - **Artistic-inspired Furniture:** The 'Display A' furniture collection draws inspiration from art studios, creating an opportunity for disruption in the artistic furniture market. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The 'Display A' furniture collection's minimalist design and customizable features present a disruptive opportunity within the furniture manufacturing industry. - **Interior Design:** The modular design and artistic inspiration behind the 'Display A' furniture collection offer disruptive innovation possibilities for the interior design industry. - **Art and Decor:** The 'Display A' furniture collection's artistic approach provides a disruptive opportunity within the art and decor industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Beam-Themed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-collection.md) - [Ultra-Elegant Timeless Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timeless-furniture2.md) - [Wood-Centric Simple Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collective-collection.md) - [Modular Configured Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabinet.md) - [Minimal Collaborative Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ash-furniture.md) - [Customizable Home Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rebound-furniture-collection.md) - [Customizable Storage Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelved-modular-furniture.md) - [Tailor-Made Furniture Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aesthetics-and-functionality.md) - [Simplistic Line-Formed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptures-furniture.md)
