The spacecraft is engineered to look like a stingray with a pronged body. The ship was created as a proposal to potentially be used in the film. The ship's body creatively blends both [animal and machine](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-walkers) in a design that replicates the shape of a stingray. The front portion is large and diamond while the back end of the ship splits into two different prongs. As the ship moves through the sky, it is recognizable as a stingray. While the concept wasn't selected to be used in the Disney movie, it does offer a viable aesthetic that could potentially be used in future vessel designs. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Sea Life Inspired Spacecraft:** There is an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the aerospace industry by creating spacecraft designs inspired by sea life. - **Animal-machine Fusion Design:** The fusion of animal and machine designs can disrupt the automotive and transportation industry. - **Futuristic Concept Vessels:** The concept of futuristic vessels can disrupt the tourism and entertainment industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Aerospace Industry:** New designs inspired by sea life can potentially disrupt the aerospace industry by creating innovative spacecrafts. - **Automotive and Transportation Industry:** Animal-machine fusion designs can provide disruptive innovation opportunities for the automotive and transportation industry. - **Tourism and Entertainment Industry:** Futuristic concept vessels have the potential to disrupt the tourism and entertainment industry by providing a unique and innovative experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stingray-Inspired Restaurant Roofs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overwater-restaurant.md) - [Space Rv Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dianai-solar-sailer.md) - [Turtle-Shaped Floating City Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terayacht.md) - [Renewable Energy Aircrafts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarpowered-aircraft.md) - [Hybrid Propulsion Yacht Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluyt-yacht-concept.md) - [Hydrodynamic Avian-Inspired Yachts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wakinyan-catamaran-yacht.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired SUV Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toyota-rav4-dark-side-performance-concept.md) - [Post-Colonization Mars Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacex-fusion-concept.md) - [Virtual Fantasy-Themed Oceans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avatar-the-way-of-water.md)
