Destruction and chaos ensues as the [wonderful world of Disney](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disneyland-game-rush) gets shot at by Tom Cruise from Top Gun, with overlaying images of different childhood characters and scenes of explosions and fire. A collage-like video style focuses on the darker aspects of these childhood fairytales, with beloved characters such as Snow White, Bambi and Dumbo fighting and fleeing for their lives. The bittersweet ending is simultaneously triumphant and sorrowful, like the ending of a true war. This dark Disney music video is a nostalgic take on action movies. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Viral](https://www.trendhunter.com/viral) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Dark Disney Twist Music Videos:** Music videos that put a dark twist on beloved Disney characters and scenes to create a new and nostalgic experience. - **Collage-like Video Style:** Using a collage-like video style that focuses on the darker aspects of beloved childhood fairy tales to create a unique and memorable visual experience. - **Bittersweet Ending Music Videos:** Music videos that feature a bittersweet ending that is both triumphant and sorrowful, leaving a lasting impact on the viewer. ### Where This Applies - **Music Production Industry:** The music production industry has an opportunity to create unique and nostalgic music videos that play on beloved childhood nostalgia but with a unique and dark twist. - **Film Industry:** The film industry can use the collage-like video style used in these music videos to create unique and visually striking films that stand out from traditional movie styles. - **Indie Music Industry:** The indie music industry can use the success of these types of music videos to carve out their own niche in the music world and create compelling and unique content. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md) - [Milestone-Honoring Music Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anime-music-video.md) - [Toy Brick Reimagined Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicked-movie.md) - [TikTok Disney Collabs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiktok-and-disney.md) - [Satirical Destination Marketing Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switzerland-is-fake.md) - [Holiday Diss Tracks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-rizzler.md) - [Dreamy Dance-Centric Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-and-spike-jonze.md) - [Magical Game Collaborations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-x-epic-games.md) - [Crossover Adorable Short Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zen-grogu-and-dust-bunnies1.md)
