When someone says paper art, [origami](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saori-matsushita) definitely comes to mind, but these incredible pop culture portraits go way beyond that. Some of the beloved Disney movies depicted in Lee’s art include The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. Other popular movies portrayed with paper include Edward Scissorhands and Harry Potter. These fantastic paper portraits are extremely vibrant and fun. One of Lee’s cartoonish paper portraits depicts an underwater beer party. There is a flipper-toting couple in the middle of the picture sipping pink champagne and a group of lively jellyfish drinking beer off to the side. Another of Lee’s non-movie based art works is made to look like an ultra girly queen of hearts card. This cute paper creation is made from bright pinks and reds. From paper Disney classics to funky underwater art, Brittney Lee’s paper portraits are definitely eye-catching and sweet. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Media](https://www.trendhunter.com/media) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Pop Culture Paper Art:** Creating paper portraits of Disney classics and other cartoon characters using vibrant and fun designs. - **Origami Beyond:** Taking paper art to the next level by going beyond traditional origami techniques. - **Vibrant and Fun Designs:** Exploring the use of bright colors and playful compositions in paper art. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Incorporating paper art into various forms of artistic expression. - **Entertainment:** Utilizing paper art to enhance visual experiences in movies, television, and theme parks. - **Craft and DIY:** Inspiring individuals to engage in paper art and create their own vibrant and fun designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Vibrant Artist Pop-Up Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keith-haring-popup-book.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Pixelated Toy-Like Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/litebrite-pop-wow-wall-art.md) - [Pop Art-Style Blocked Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-in-red.md) - [Nostalgic Art-Inspired Postal Stamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usps-stamp.md) - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md)
