Enter the Jetsons. If you're tired of [washing your dishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-ultrasonic-dishwasher), then you'll love the easy button MIT developed. At the push of a button, you can recycle your old dishes while simultaneously creating new ones. MIT has created the new prototype to bring personal fabrication to your kitchen.

"The DishMaker is the brainchild of grad student Leonardo Bonanni and was developed by [MIT Media Lab's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/g3dp-2) Counter Intelligence Group," GizMag reports. "It was developed under the idea that personal fabrication could one day produce everything we need locally, replacing the transportation of atoms with the digital transfer of designs. Rather than purchase items we would use [rapid prototyping techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loop-concept) to create objects (such as dishes) on demand using computer control."
