The functional oven is studded with mirror detailing and is also able to rotate on the base similar to the look of a disco ball. There are over 34,000 small mirror units that are fitted by hand to provide its unique visual aesthetic. The inside of the oven is made with a stone core complete with a [cordierite cooking base](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stonebaked-pizza) so that it is able to reach temperatures of 400°C (752°F). This way, the Discoven can cook a [Neopolitan-style pizza](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ooni-volt-2) within only 90 seconds.
