# Colorful Cave Clubs Disco Ayala Makes Partying in the Tropics Truly Gratifying By Michael Baxter | Published 2014-05-20 | World Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disco-ayala References: [neatorama](http://www.neatorama.com/2014/05/20/Dance-Club-in-a-Cave/) & [alainsojourner](http://alainsojourner.com/you-will-never-believe-whats-inside-this-cave-in-trinidad/) Cuba is known for a lot of things, their cave nightclubs aren't typically one of them, but [Disco Ayala](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disco-by-aulosa) is truly awe-inspiring. The club is literally inside a cave, not some sort of cave lookalike made to give off the impression that one is truly inside a stone face in the wall. The club features rugged walls, a damp yet inviting atmosphere and bats -- yes, bats. Disco Ayala is one of a few different cave clubs in Cuba, but what separates it is atmosphere and authenticity. Disco Ayala is different because while the other cave clubs use the theme, Ayala embodies the experience. Expect to see bats, get a few scrapes here and there on the rocks, but more than anything -- expect to have the most fun you've ever had in a cave. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cave Nightclubs:** The trend of cave nightclubs offers a unique party experience in a natural and rustic setting. - **Authentic Experiences:** The trend of seeking authentic experiences provides opportunities to create immersive and memorable environments for customers. - **Unconventional Venues:** The trend of using unconventional venues like caves opens up possibilities for creating novel and unexpected event spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Hospitality:** The hospitality industry can explore the concept of cave nightclubs to diversify their offerings and attract adventurous customers. - **Event Planning:** Event planning professionals can tap into the trend of authentic experiences by organizing events in unconventional and unique venues like caves. - **Tourism:** The tourism industry can incorporate cave nightclubs as a unique attraction to enhance destination experiences for travelers seeking novelty and adventure. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cave-Like Retail Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cavelike-interior.md) - [Subterranean Social Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/william-vale-hotel.md) - [Ethereal Ambiance Speakeasies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artifact-bar.md) - [DJ-Collaborative Acoustic Nightclubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/klymax.md) - [Oven-Inspired Techno Clubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oven-club.md) - [Geometric Cave-Like Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cavelike-homes.md) - [Cave-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cave-bureau.md) - [Illuminated Cave-Like Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/javier-senosiain-arquitectos.md) - [Tropics-Themed Agave Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agave-bar.md)
