According to a recent press release, the new expression will be distributed in the UK by Specialty Brands. The 2007 Single Vintage will join the brand's [Diplomático Single Vintages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/single-estate-series1), which currently includes years 2000 to 2005. The expression was made by the rum brand's master blenders and has been aged for 12 years in single malt casks and ex-bourbon barrels. “With a bright dark amber colour, the 2007 Single Vintage opens with harmonious notes of ripe red fruits accompanied with aromas of vanilla, spices and chocolate that provide a delicate and subtle aromatic balance," said Nelson Hernandez, master blender for Diplomático Rum.
