This example of dip-dyed furniture is a collaboration between Swedish designers Karlsson and Bjork and textile designers Sundin/Persson. The cute stools look like something you could easily adapt as a DIY project at home.

The [simple stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girard-stool) feature dip-dyed legs and square patterned dip-dyed fabric on top in pale pastel shades like blue, purple and green. The 'Dip Dye' chairs were recently exhibited at the Wood Punk Exhibition at the [Stockholm Furniture Fair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yrj-kukkapuro) 2013. The designers dyed the fabric by tying it to the legs with string and allowing the dying imprint to form the patterns.

This range of dip-dyed furniture would look great as a splash of color in a modern apartment or home that doesn't have much space. The stool, whilst modern, also has a cozy homely feel.
