The Dip Chair by London-based furniture company Folklore makes an old eighteenth century chair design fresh and highly desired.

The half-painted seat design was inspired by the Windsor Style Chair that appeared in England during the era of the 1700s. The chair is made of [polished wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sedia-tonda) and dipped three quarters of the way into a glossy white paint. The original design for the chair was prevalent during the 1950s. Folklore got a hold of the [modernist design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midcentury-chair-design) and restored the chairs so that they would sparkle like new, and since then the seats are a highly coveted piece of furniture.

The Dip Chair is a fine piece of [two-toned furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taptap-chair) that would update any foyer because of the clean and unusually becoming design.
