This opulent 622-seat theater will feature plush oversized leather seats in 11 viewing rooms. The theater is the brainchild of [Mexico City](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cirque-du-soleil-ludo)-based company Cinemex. In order to enhance the culinary aspect of the experience, Cinemax partnered with world-renowned chef Mikel Alonso of the Biko restaurant. Highly acclaimed Mexico City mixologist Mica Rousseau is also involved in the culinary side of things. This dine-in cinema's exterior will feature a huge LED screen with eye-catching animated content. The building's face is also highly eco-friendly and will help regulate air flow, collect rainwater for reuse and provide shade from the searing Florida sun. There are few pleasures as simple and universal as enjoying a tasty dinner and a good movie, and that's exactly what this dine-in cinema will provide. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Multimedia](https://www.trendhunter.com/multimedia) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Luxury Dine-in Theatres:** The trend of luxury dine-in theatres is rising as companies partner with renowned chefs to deliver an elevated culinary experience during a movie. - **Eco-friendly Theatre Design:** The trend of eco-friendly theatre design is growing as companies incorporate sustainable materials and features into their building designs. - **Collaboration Between Hospitality and Entertainment Industries:** The trend of collaboration between hospitality and entertainment industries is increasing as companies recognize the potential of combining both industries to deliver an immersive experience for their customers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Movie Theatres:** Movie theatre companies can incorporate luxury dine-in experiences, eco-friendly features, and collaborations with renowned chefs and mixologists to create a differentiated and unique offering for movie-goers. - **Restaurants:** Restaurants can explore opportunities to partner with movie theatres and provide catering services for dine-in cinema experiences to enhance their revenue streams and offer a new service to their customers. - **Hospitality:** Hospitality companies can collaborate with entertainment companies to create immersive experiences that combine elements of dining and entertainment to attract new customers and provide a differentiated offering in the competitive industry ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Comfortable Theater Seat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comfortable-theater-seat.md) - [Cinematically Designed Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/daphne-restaurant.md) - [Landscape Seating Theater Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinema-visiona.md) - [Projector-Replacing Cinema Screens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinema-led-screens.md) - [Tropical Brutalist Dining](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uchiko-miami-beach.md) - [Mall-Based Indoor Adventure Parks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miami-international-mall.md) - [Inaugural Takeout-Only Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miami-grill-express.md) - [Spicy Cinema Snack Menus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amc-theatres-summer-of-spice.md) - [Cinema-Inspired Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a24-movie-chocolate.md)
