You can buy this ultra funk Digital Platter for only $18. It's part of the French Bull collection, a contemporary [melamine housewares](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-tigress) line designed by Jackie Shapiro. The only thing I don't get is why the description is so uncool, "Colorful, functional, and affordable [servingware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-and-gustaf-westman) with bold graphic style. High-grade, dishwasher-safe melamine plastic. Do not microwave." Okay. I won't microwave it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Colorful Housewares:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating vibrant and visually appealing houseware products. - **Contemporary Melamine:** Opportunity to disrupt the melamine market by offering modern and stylish designs. - **Affordable Servingware:** Potential to disrupt the servingware industry by offering affordable yet stylish options for consumers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Housewares:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the housewares industry by introducing unique and colorful products. - **Melamine:** Potential for disruptive innovation in the melamine industry by offering contemporary designs that appeal to modern consumers. - **Servingware:** Opportunity to disrupt the servingware market by offering affordable yet fashionable options for consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Food-Hued Serveware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pantone-x-hm.md) - [Multifunctional Kitchen Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/latticeboard-multipurpose-kitchen-board.md) - [Modular Serving Dishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thermal-serving-dish.md) - [Chic Stackable Tableware Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tableware-ecosystem.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Playful Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hem.md) - [Colorful Retro Pixel Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-mirror.md) - [Luxurious Patterned Ceramic Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patterned-ceramic-plates.md) - [Color Block Table Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jaunt-tabletop-collection.md) - [Revived Mid-Century Serveware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tortugaware.md)
