# Uncanny Celeb Photoshopping The Stars Shine Bright in Consumido's Digital Painting Collection By Alex Scott | Published 2011-01-19 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-painting-collection References: [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/gallery/Digital-Painting/923031) & [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/layaconsumido) Being just a beginner in the realm of photoshop myself, I always tend to marvel at what can be done by a single art-based software program. Artist Maylaya Consumido shows off her skills here with this celebrity-rich digital painting collection. Rather than a mere interpretation of these artists, Consumido has managed to create a cyber doppelganger of these famous faces, right down to the most minute cheekbone features. There are many street artists who I have seen this level of talent in before, but I think what blows me away the most about the digital painting collection is that it was all done using a mouse rather than a brush. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Media](https://www.trendhunter.com/media) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Hyperrealistic Digital Art:** Opportunity to disrupt the art industry by creating hyperrealistic digital paintings. - **Photo Manipulation:** Opportunity to innovate in the field of photo editing and create new software or techniques for realistic photo manipulation. - **Digital Brush Techniques:** Potential to revolutionize the way artists create digital paintings by developing new brush techniques and tools. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the art industry to explore new forms of digital painting and photo editing. - **Software Development:** Opportunities to create new software solutions for photo editing and digital art creation. - **Artificial Intelligence:** Potential to leverage AI technology to enhance and automate the process of digital painting and photo manipulation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stylized Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-to-all.md) - [AI-Generated Selfies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreambooth.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Imaginative Photo-Editing AI Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/youniverse.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [AI Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portraitia.md) - [Artistic AI Image Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/donny-ai.md) - [Photo Art Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/image-painter.md)
