Sometimes his works look more like sketches and sometimes their subject is an anonymous woman, but for the most part, McDogal's art is [hyper-realistic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/looks-delicious) and focuses on some of [Hollywood's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nike-football-x-lego) most popular (and beautiful) women. Hailing from the United Kingdom, McDougal has painted everyone from Eva Mendes to Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Aniston. Although McDougal has an apparent affinity for hot celebrities, he has a particular love for Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima. Painting her looking sultry, shocked and even just goofing around, her face lends endless inspiration to the artist. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Celebs](https://www.trendhunter.com/celebs) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Hyper-realistic Art:** The trend of hyper-realistic art in digital and traditional mediums presents opportunities for artists to create realistic and immersive experiences for viewers. - **Celebrity Portraiture:** The trend of using celebrities as subjects in artwork creates an opportunity for artists to tap into the public's fascination with famous individuals and create unique interpretations. - **Digital Recreation of Physical Objects:** The trend of digitally recreating physical objects, such as paintings and sculptures, opens up the opportunity for wider accessibility and preservation of these art forms. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** The art industry can benefit from these trends by incorporating new techniques and subject matter to appeal to a wider audience and create unique experiences. - **Entertainment and Media:** The entertainment and media industry can benefit from these trends by using hyper-realistic artwork in marketing and promotion, and commissioning unique interpretations of celebrities. - **Technology:** The technology industry can benefit from these trends by developing innovative tools and software for creating and manipulating hyper-realistic art and preserving physical artwork through digital recreation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [AI-Generated Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/persona-ai.md) - [Colossal AI Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-artwork.md) - [Stylized Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-to-all.md) - [Oil Painting-Inspired Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antonio-santn.md) - [Physics-Informed Digital Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motion-sculpture.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [AI-Generated Soup Can Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campbells-paintings.md)
