This is a palette that makes it possible to paint digitally on a touchscreen without using the mouse or a painting program. The **Palette-Digital Artist** gives painting a more natural feel for those who care about that sort of thing and it comes with [digital brushes or pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-crayon-pro) of different sizes that offer a host of [high definition digital colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palettemaster). The connectivity to computers and monitors is all done wirelessly. It uses a "Photo-optic visual sensor with color recognition," according to the competition page. As a painting enthusiast, I find this palette very interesting. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Natural Touchscreen Artistic Tools:** The trend of creating digital artistic tools with a more natural feel and user experience presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the creative industry. - **Wireless Connectivity for Artistic Tools:** The trend of utilizing wireless connectivity for artistic tools presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the hardware industry. - **Advanced Digital Brush and Pen Tools:** The trend of developing advanced digital brushes and pens with high definition digital colors presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the software industry. ### Who This Affects Most - **Creative Industry:** The development of more natural feeling digital artistic tools presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the creative industry. - **Hardware Industry:** Utilizing wireless connectivity for artistic tools presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the hardware industry. - **Software Industry:** The development of advanced digital brushes and pens with high definition digital colors presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the software industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Paper-Inspired Drawing Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xencelabs-pen-tablet.md) - [Digital Creativity Tablet Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ugee-trio-pad-ut3.md) - [Professional Drawing Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pen-display-24.md) - [Creativity-Focused Drawing Pads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-pad.md) - [Fashionable Desktop Design Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wondlet-graphics-tablet.md) - [Multifunctional Touchpad Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touchpad-drawing-tablet.md) - [Paper-Like Drawing Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-drawing-tablet.md) - [Designer-Targeted Tablet Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pen-tablet.md) - [Screen-Equipped Computer Peripherals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magic-mouse-touch.md)
