Kosmi is a great, multi-functional example in this space. The platform revolves around a virtual room system. The features that are offered by Kosmi include in-room chat, support for webcam and microphone, and "the ability to run real-time applications such as games, emulators, and synced video." Perhaps, Kosmi's last feature is what allows the digital hangout tool to really stand out in the market. One has a few options for co-watching--from playing local video files that are synced and streamed for everyone in the room to a special feature for enjoying [YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-game-streaming) videos together. In addition, Kosmi also allows [public digital hangouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/internet-social-caf) where users can meet and interact with one another. No installation is required.
