Even as toys and collectibles increasingly shift towards digital formats, there remains a strong need and desire among collectors to possess physical products that allow them to tangibly showcase their sense of ownership and connection to their favorite characters or franchises—and with this in mind, Gatebox created the Digital Figure Box.

The design of the box resembles the usual packaging for physical figurines, complete with an opening where onlookers can peek inside, yet it includes a digital display that lights up to show off a digital figure.

Knowing that there are all sorts of collectors who want to display their assets differently, the designers at Gatebox developed several designs, some of which are specific to certain figurines, and others that can easily be interchanged without mislabeling.
