The unit features a lantern-like profile that's ultra-modern and will reveal a [magnetic mounting dock](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-sleep) inside for the user's smartphone to be placed during use. This will enable users to power the device when not in use, but also keep it out of focus to prevent users from mindlessly picking it up throughout the day or session. The conceptual 'QUIES' digital detox device also features a built-in speaker to let users listen to their choice of music, while the top-mounted controls allow changes to be made without having to physically interact with the smartphone. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 37% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Digital Detox Devices:** Digital detox devices are rising in popularity as consumers seek tech-free periods, creating space for innovations that integrate calming aesthetics with functionality. - **Mindful Technology Use:** The push for mindful technology use is encouraging the development of tools that help users manage screen time effectively without sacrificing connectivity. - **Wellness Gadgets:** Gadgets designed for wellness focus on reducing stress and promoting mental health, tapping into the growing consumer demand for solutions that enhance well-being. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics is evolving to include products that promote healthier interactions with technology, driven by the increasing awareness of digital well-being. - **Wellness Industry:** The wellness industry is expanding to offer innovative solutions that cater to mental health improvement, incorporating technology in balanced, user-friendly ways. - **Home Automation:** Home automation is transforming with the integration of tech-detox devices that blend seamlessly into modern living spaces, enhancing the home environment while supporting healthier lifestyles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Digital Detox Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheaum-concept.md) - [Smartphone Detox Lockboxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartphone-lock-box.md) - [Conscious Smartphone Detox Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muto.md) - [Digital Detox Smartphone Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humidifier-and-wireless-charger.md) - [Distraction-Free Meditation Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meditation-clock.md) - [Modern Digital Detox Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-detox-box.md) - [Deep Focus Desktop Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tabletop-stopwatch.md) - [Anti-Distraction Smartphone Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-charging-dock-concept.md) - [Anti-Distraction Smartphone Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/migo-wireless-charger-dock.md)
