The system was introduced by Proof 8 as part of its warehouse management suite and was highlighted after expansion into the US and Asia Pacific. The platform links each physical cask to a [tamper-evident digital record that captures provenance](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eviden), maturation data and compliance details; it earned recognition as a top-three innovation at the DISCUS Innovation Showcase 2025. Proof 8 also formed a strategic partnership with Cockayne Systems in January 2026 to integrate cask-filling and calibration workflows. For producers and warehousekeepers, Digital Deeds cuts administrative friction, reduces fraud risk and makes provenance auditable for regulators and consumers. By embedding traceability into daily operations, the platform responds to rising demand for transparency and helps distilleries protect brand trust while improving operational efficiency.
