The [eco-frinedly Diffusion Lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi) acts as a receptacle for these [discarded pieces of paper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apeel) that help the lamp to glow and add a unique touch to the fixture. Once the Diffusion Lamp is full, the paper inhabits the piece without getting used up, so, you might need quite a few lamps to help recycle all that paper. Or maybe the Diffusion Lamp will inspire you to use and waste less. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 69% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Eco-friendly Lighting:** The Diffusion Lamp by CJCDesign and Thomas Mascall is an example of eco-friendly lighting that recycles discarded paper. - **Upcycling:** The use of transit transfers, grocery lists, and receipts as paper receptacles in the Diffusion Lamp reflects a trend towards upcycling. - **Sustainable Design:** The Diffusion Lamp is an innovative example of sustainable design that repurposes waste into functional and aesthetic fixtures. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Lighting:** The Diffusion Lamp is a disruptive innovation opportunity for eco-friendly lighting in the lighting industry. - **Waste Management:** The upcycling and recycling aspects of the Diffusion Lamp offer a unique opportunity for the waste management industry. - **Sustainability:** The sustainable design principles reflected in the Diffusion Lamp present a disruptive innovation opportunity for the sustainability industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ecological Dual Lampshade Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-light.md) - [Recycled Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys-collection.md) - [Discarded Theater Screen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/discarded-theater-screen.md) - [Utensil Waste Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys.md) - [Recycled Paper Pulp Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-lamp1.md) - [Organic Paper-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farolito.md) - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md) - [Urban Debris-Crafted Portable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remli.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md)
