Although usually restricted to desks, this particular fixture would effectively make them useless. It would not only take up the complete surface of a desk, it could very well break one all together. Measuring 90.5 inches tall, 51.2 inches wide and 59 inches deep, the Diana Floor Lamp XL is a [statement piece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottega-veneta-x-flos) that would brighten up a room in more ways than one. Designed by Portuguese company Delightfull, the Diana Floor Lamp XL boasts either a chrome or gold-plated body that is topped off with an [aluminum shade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape). Lean and lanky, it has a vintage, industrial appeal that would add a funky touch to any home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Oversized Lighting:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Explore the market for oversized lighting fixtures that make a bold statement in interior design. - **Statement Pieces:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Create unique and attention-grabbing lighting designs that serve as focal points in home decor. - **Vintage Industrial Style:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Combine vintage aesthetics with modern materials and technology to create stylish and functional lighting solutions. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Develop innovative lighting options that redefine the concept of modern interior design. - **Furniture and Home Decor:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Introduce oversized lighting fixtures as statement pieces that complement and enhance the overall aesthetic of furniture and home decor collections. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Experiment with unconventional sizes and designs to offer customers bold and unconventional lighting options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tubular Totem-Like Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-light-totem-i.md) - [Oversized Pen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bic-lamp.md) - [Dual-Purpose Camera-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nostalgian-floor-lamp-clock.md) - [Archival Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1953-floor-lamp.md) - [Cutesy Coiled Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-helix-lamp.md) - [Bold Playful Lighting Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp.md) - [Minimalist Tech Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20.md) - [Shiny Structural Lamp Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pose-lighting.md) - [Sculptural Lunar Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonsetter-floor-lamp.md)
