[Trendinista](http://trendinista.blogspot.com/2008/04/diana-bobars-blooming-cyclamen.html)follows her excellent [fish-inspired](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rodartes-fish-runway)fashion post with a superb study of Diana Bobar's [Spring'08](http://www.sofashon.com/dbd-spring08-rtw-collection) ready-to-wear collection. This time, inspiration seems to come from the endangered *Wild Cyclamen*, a tubular *Mediterranean* flower with breezy, spiral petals.

Trendinista explains that the genus name *Cyclamen* is derived from the Greek word *kyklamenos* which means "circle form". The circular movement of Bobar's latest dress designs strikes a cord with such circle form and as seen by the accompanying images, they possess a striking resemblance with these delicate flowers.

I have to tip my hat off to Trendinista and her amazing talent in finding such smart comparisons and magnificent natural images.
