The "new normal" of the pandemic has prompted many entertainment changes and the increased use of digital media, including the new Broadway musical: 'Diana: A New Musical' that will stream on Netflix before opening to the public. The show centers on the life of the late Princess Diana and stars Jeanna de Waal. Filmed in an empty theater, the musical will debut on Netflix in early 2021 before opening on Broadway on May 25th, 2021.

"We speak for the entire company when we say that we couldn’t be more excited to finally be able to share our show with theater lovers everywhere,” the producers said in a press release. “Though there is no substitute for the live theater, we are honored to be a part of the quality entertainment that Netflix provides its subscribers worldwide.”
