In what looks like too much Bling, this [Mercedes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-edition-gwagen) SL was spotted in a recent overseas autoshow. A few months ago, an [Audi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/model-a7l) A8 was made entirely out of [Silver](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skydiamond) for the sheik in Dubai.. **Implications** - While many were hit hard by the recession, there is still a luxury class existent in society. This developing trend of blinged-out, luxe products signals towards the fact that businesses that have traditionally aligned themselves to a high income consumer should continue to do so. People still crave extravagance and just because there has been a dip in the economy, it doesn't mean that luxury doesn't live on.
