Designed by Marek Błażucki, the desk maintains a [skeletal construction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arnardo-desk) with four legs and a clean top section that is complete with strategically placed cutouts on the back area. This acts as a design feature that is both stylish and also functional thanks to its ability to be paired with [storage components](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otis-hanger-30) for keeping small essentials on hand. The 'Diag Desk' is designed with either veneer or [solid wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-shelf-pro), or lacquered MDF wood fibers with legs achieved using an anthracite structural lacquered base or a brushed stainless steel for enhanced rigidity and style. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalism:** The trend towards minimalist workstations allows for more functional and stylish use of space. - **Modularity:** Modular workstations, like the 'Diag Desk', allow for more customizable storage solutions. - **Sustainable Materials:** Using sustainable materials like veneer or solid wood for minimalist workstations promotes environmental consciousness. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can adopt modular and sustainable design principles to produce more functional and eco-friendly workstations for their customers. - **Office Supplies:** Office supplies and equipment providers can diversify their product offerings by including minimalist and modular workstations that promote efficient use of space. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can leverage the trend towards minimalist workstations to create more open and airy workspaces that promote productivity and creativity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pocket Storage-Equipped Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-desk.md) - [Minimalist Demure Designer Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backup-desk.md) - [Sleek Storage-Packed Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/threesix-desk.md) - [Minimalist Monochromatic Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arqus-desk.md) - [Single-Piece Construction Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nook-desk.md) - [Minimalist Modular Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/console-desk.md) - [Minimalist Storage-Friendly Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bold-desk.md) - [Ergonomic Multi-Use Desk Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabinett-desk.md) - [Hyper-Customizable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hypercustomizable-desk.md)
