# Self-Balancing Toothbrushes The Dews Toothbrush from Ryan Harc is Dentist-Approved By Michael Hines | Published 2010-06-23 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dews-toothbrush References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/06/22/toothbrush-upstanding-tall-with-pride/) & [7760.org](http://www.7760.org/) The Dews toothbrush from Ryan Harc is the perfect toothbrush. The Dews toothbrush is [self-balancing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/issa-4-toothbrushes), meaning you never ever have to worry about your toothbrush falling onto the dirty bathroom floor again. I don't know about you, but I hate having to put my [toothbrush into its holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clea-toothbrush-sanitizer). The holder is easily knocked over and is often more of a nuisance then a help. The Dews toothbrush can balance itself, which means the days of cramming toothbrushes into a cramped container are just about over. Good things come to those who wait. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Self-balancing Toothbrushes:** The trend of self-balancing toothbrushes is disrupting the dental care industry by providing a more convenient and hygienic way of storing toothbrushes. - **Smart Bathroom Tools:** The rise of smart bathroom tools like the Dews toothbrush is disrupting the bathroom industry by introducing innovative products that make everyday tasks easier and more efficient. - **Hands-free Technology:** Self-balancing toothbrushes and other hands-free technologies are disrupting the personal care industry by providing consumers with products that reduce the risk of contamination and improve overall hygiene. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Dental Care:** Self-balancing toothbrushes are disrupting the dental care industry by changing the way people store and use their toothbrushes. - **Consumer Electronics:** The Dews toothbrush is disrupting the consumer electronics industry by introducing a new category of smart bathroom tools. - **Personal Care:** Self-balancing toothbrushes and other hands-free technologies are disrupting the personal care industry by providing consumers with innovative and convenient products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reliable Self-Sanitizing Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hahatec-self-sanitizing-toothbrush.md) - [Stand-Up Water Fountain Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Youseeuc.md) - [Dual-Action Electric Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laifen-wave-electric-toothbrush.md) - [Wireless Charging Electric Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-charging-electric-toothbrushes.md) - [Tech-Equipped Smart Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oralb-io-series-10.md) - [Retractable Travel-Ready Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dentigo.md) - [Tech-Forward Tooth Brush Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonic-electric-toothbrush1.md) - [UV-Sanitizing Electric Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/umma-diamond-sonic-toothbrush.md) - [Premium Oscillating Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laifen-wave.md)
