# Plant-Inspired Water Purifiers The 'DEWDROP' Water Purifier Has a Naturalistic Aesthetic By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2018-03-01 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dewdrop-water-purifier References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2018/03/01/dew-you-need-a-new-purifier/) The conceptual 'DEWDROP' water purifier comes as a stylish appliance for the modern kitchen that will provide access to clean drinking water with a focus on a natural aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from arboreal greenery, the purifier has a tall base along with a [dispensing wand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumos-water-purifier) that extends from the main unit like a leaf to offer seamless access to clean drinking water. Being that dew drops on a leaf are one of the safest ways to collect drinking water in nature, the purifier draws inspiration from this notion for a high-tech piece of equipment that's suitable for urban consumers. The 'DEWDROP' water purifier is the design work of Hyun Yeol Shin and has a series of intuitive touch-and-tap controls that enable you to access the right temperature of water.
