[Detroit Dirt](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/detroit-public-theater) is a social enterprise that takes up unused piece of land in Detroit and turns it into valuable compost that can help to create revitalizing [urban farms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/greenpublic) and further, communities.

Obviously, Detroit Dirt are big proponents of what compost can do -- or rather, what compost can grow. Plants need essential nutrient that compost can provide. And with plans, we can have yummy food, clean air and a quite pretty scene to boot. At the root (pun intended) of all of this, is the creation of a self-sustaining Detroit, one that can run on community gardening, business development and environmental concern.

Also, founder Pashon Murray is currently featured in Newsweek. Congrats!
