All the PC components are smartly built into the design to offer maximum performance and convenience. If you ever want to take a break from computing and go back to traditional ways of reading and writing, the fold-away screen conveniently goes down, giving you ample surface space to do whatever you want. "'The tower' storage unit for example supports all motherboard sizes, allows adequate cooling and is easily accessible for maintenance," explains designer [Gareth Battensby](http://www.silo9.co.uk/sync.html). ÈThe desk includes a built in USB hub for peripherals, scanner, widescreen monitor, webcam, wireless keyboard and mouse, and storage space for CDs and stationary. The easy to access power and DVD unit mean you don't have to lean over your chair to get to them. The fold away screen and keyboard gives you the space for other work when you need it." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Office Desk Innovation:** Designing innovative office desks that efficiently integrate technology - **Smart Furniture:** Creating furniture that incorporates technology to provide convenience and efficiency - **Workspace Integration:** Integrating technology seamlessly into workspace design ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** Creating computer-integrated desks as part of a smart furniture line for the modern office and home spaces - **Technology:** Developing new products that integrate technology into furniture to increase convenience and efficiency in workspaces - **Office Products:** Creating a category of office products that cater to digital integration into work environments ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Internal PC Case Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pc-case-desk.md) - [Hybrid Schedule Workstation Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humanex-x3.md) - [Computer-Housing Office Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lian-li-dk07.md) - [Futuristic Gaming Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/project-sophia.md) - [Connected Gamer Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toughdesk-350-smart-gaming-desk.md) - [In-Desk Gaming PCs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unevn.md) - [OLED Screen-Equipped Smart Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumina-desk.md) - [All-in-One Gaming Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/platform6.md) - [Adjustable Accessory-Friendly Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corsair-platform4-desk.md)
