The device maintains an almost stone-like appearance that can be propped up into position thanks to a built-in leg on the rear that also functions as a handle. The microphone captures impressive audio, but takes up far less space than the existing [desktop models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hoan-desktop) on the market to make it well-suited for those working in [small home offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leandesk). The desk microphone concept is the design work of Diego Schreibvogel and is the perfect tool for digital professionals to incorporate into their workstation when seeking out a new way to capture high-quality audio. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Space-saving Desktop Microphones:** New designs for work from home equipment. - **Compact Microphone Technology:** Mic designs that prioritize mobility and efficiency. - **Small Workstation Solutions:** Innovative solutions for home office workspaces. ### Where This Applies - **Audio Technology:** Revolutionizing existing technologies with compact designs. - **Home Office Equipment:** Creating functional equipment for a growing remote workforce. - **Product Design:** Design solutions for professionals seeking increased efficiency and functionality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Handheld Desktop Computer Microphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hand-desk-mic.md) - [Whimsical Desktop Microphone Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/talkie-desktop-microphone.md) - [Portable Podcaster Microphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microphone-concept.md) - [Rotating Indicator Microphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/voice-bar-microphone.md) - [Dedicated Desktop Character Microphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pacman-microphone.md) - [Elegant Working Desk Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindset-builtin-computer-desk.md) - [Space-Saving Foldable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-desk1.md) - [AR Headset-Holding Desktop Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-smart-speaker.md) - [Compact Professional-Grade Microphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solum-voice-s.md)
