Called the 'Watercone', the [cone-shaped device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serena-antigravity-humidifier) is well-suited for desks but can be placed on any hard surface based on where the user is. Humidifiers can be important in reducing mild dehydration-related health issues such as tired eyes, nosebleeds and dry or cracked skin and this contraption makes the access to hydrate the air easier for users. The desk humidifier can sit on work desks, side tables and even in cars in order to ensure that the air contains an adequate amount of water. This device would be especially useful for people who live in areas in which cold weather exacerbates problems relating to dryness. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Desk Humidifiers:** The trend of miniaturized and portable humidifiers for personal use. - **Personal Wellness:** The trend of health-consciousness and preventive measures for mild dehydration-related health issues. - **Mobile Hydration:** The trend of easily accessible solutions for hydration on-the-go. ### Where This Applies - **Home Appliances:** Opportunity for manufacturers to develop more effective and portable personal humidifiers. - **Beauty and Skincare:** Opportunity for companies to create complementary skincare and beauty products that cater to dry skin related to mild dehydration. - **Automotive:** Opportunity for car manufacturers to integrate portable and effective humidifiers in vehicle designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hydrating Handheld Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haler-bliz.md) - [Portable Skincare Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dr-idriss-x-canopy-portable-humidifier.md) - [Humidifying Stoneware Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kumo-humidifier.md) - [Portable Mini Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hey-dewy-1.md) - [Compact Humidifier Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-humidifier.md) - [Plant-Powered Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-humidifier.md) - [Hydrating Home Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hey-dewy-2.md) - [Flower-Filled Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aromatherapy-humidifier.md) - [Car-Friendly Ultrasonic Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-diffuser-portable-humidifier.md)
