These creative calendars are designed to look like 1970s [flip clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-alarm-clock). The desk calendars come in three colors, which include black, green and white. The calendars can be used year after year and require no batteries as the product is hand-powered via a rolling mechanism. The aforementioned rolling mechanism works for each day, date and month, while also adding to the vintage aesthetic. The recognizable shape surrounds a black or silver face with white letters and numbers. Anyone interested in the calendar must know that this vintage office accessory is only available in Dutch, Swiss or Portuguese. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Retro Desk Calendars:** The trend of retro desk calendars provides an opportunity for businesses to tap into nostalgia and offer unique office accessories. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Office Supplies:** The office supplies industry can leverage the trend of retro desk calendars to create innovative and visually appealing products for consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Retro Pastel Flip Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-flip-clock.md) - [Coastal Desk Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighthouse-calendar.md) - [Retro Digital Flip Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-clock1.md) - [Pixelated Flip-Style Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniot-klapklok.md) - [Barebones Retro-Inspired Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudnola-flip-clock.md) - [Celestially Inspired Desk Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/astral-desk-clock.md) - [Intertwined Marble-Made Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noova-calendar.md) - [Vintage Watch-Adapted Desk Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a158w.md) - [Minimal Dynamic Desk Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-desk-clock.md)
