Melbourne-based art and design firm [ENESS](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iwagumi-air-scape) has been transforming ordinary physical spaces into [interactive, psychedelic environments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) since 1997. Its latest creation demonstrates well the value of 15 years of experience in this field.

Using its own three-dimensional mapping software, ENESS projects an [animated X-Games logo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alienware-x-twitch) onto snow-ramps. The logo then responds to snowboarders as they shoot down the hill and fly into the air. The animations interact differently with each successive snowboarder so as to produce a pattern that evolves dynamically over time.

Watching the video of these animations, one might just think that they’re watching scenes from ‘Tron.’ Shapes explode and morph into one another amongst a cornucopia of vibrant, dancing colors. At certain times, the effect is so complete that it seems there is no snow at all.
