Designed to look like a variety of exotic flowers, the Desert Steel Garden Torches are perfect for garden parties or even as decorations when unlit for your garden. The fuel chamber hidden within the base of the flower of the Desert Steel Garden Torches can hold enough oil to burn for up to six hours, which means that they'll help to deter mosquitoes and other insects from bothering you for the duration. Ornately and intricately designed to add character to an otherwise utilitarian product, the Desert Steel Garden Torches are a must for parties in the summertime. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Exotic Garden Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create unique and eye-catching garden decorations that combine functionality with aesthetics. - **Insect-repellent Outdoor Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop outdoor lighting solutions that also serve as insect repellents, providing both ambiance and functionality. - **Functional Party Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design party accessories that not only serve their intended purpose but also add a decorative and memorable element to gatherings. ### Who This Affects Most - **Garden and Landscape Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate innovative and visually appealing designs into the creation of gardens and landscapes, enhancing overall aesthetics and functionality. - **Outdoor Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new ways to combine lighting and insect repellent features for outdoor spaces, providing a unique and practical lighting solution. - **Event Planning and Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create functional and visually striking decorations and accessories for events, enhancing the overall experience for attendees. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Solar-Powered Floral Garden Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-tree-house.md) - [Animated Show-Inspired Butane Torches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/butane-torch.md) - [Floral-Inspired Concrete Fire Pits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunflower-fire-pit.md) - [Mosquito-Repelling Outdoor String Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-string-lights.md) - [Propane-Powered Fire Pits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiki-brand.md) - [Functional Design-Conscious Fit Pits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiki-patio-smokeless-fire-pit.md) - [Modular Fire Pits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-propane-gas-fire-pit.md) - [Rose Garden-Inspired Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-fellow.md) - [Succulent Terrarium Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/succulent-terrarium-candle.md)
