The 9th annual Des Alpes fashion show in Washington, DC featured some pretty incredible [edible couture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snackable-fashion). The fashion show's proceeds benefit local DC area libraries and all of the chocolate looks are made by local chefs.

The Des Alpes Fashion show is a brilliant idea, showcasing what you can do with food! Some of the designs featured Tinkerbell, a Chronicles of Narnia witch dress and a Cruella DeVille ensemble complete with a dog. The theme for the fashion show was Literacy on the Silver Screen. The Des Alpes fashion show pairs two of my favorite things: [chocolate and clothes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/louis-vuitton-vivienne-sur-malle)!
