It has a [swiveling footrest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swivel-series) that can be set to three different positions and its rounded good looks would be at home in many settings, especially in a modern home or office. Wouldn't these be great in a waiting-room? Designer Justin Wood is behind the [circle-inspired seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopy-chair). His vision includes a variety of colors and well-placed finishing accents. **Implications** - Don't be surprised if you see these futuristic Jetsons-like seating found on the set of a new science fiction movie. I'm still amazed at how far technology has come to be able to produce a chair with this unique a shape. I would probably purchase a purple Denwo chair for myself, but the blue, orange, and green varieties are cool as well. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Curvaceous Seating:** Design chairs with unique curves, shapes and forms beyond the traditional outlook. - **Swiveling Footrests:** Create innovative seating options with adjustable footrests that can be varied to suit different posture requirements. - **Collaborative Seating:** Design chairs with welcoming curves and shapes appropriate for group sitting and open spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Industry:** Existing furniture manufacturers can venture into making unique circular seating designs that cater better to modern interiors. - **Entertainment Production Industry:** Producers of sci-fi movies can seek to include these futuristic chairs in their movies and TV shows. - **Office Equipment Industry:** Innovative chairs that cater to collaborative seating can be developed for co-working spaces and offices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Adaptable Ergonomic Office Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-moon-chair.md) - [Circular Modernist Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zerogravity-chair.md) - [Cozy 60s-Inspired Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-dyvlinge.md) - [Pretzel-Like Comfortable Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dohui.md) - [Space Travel-Inspired Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerospace-seat-spn01.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Structurally Complex Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-arch-chair.md) - [Circular Lounge Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chunk-doughnut-chair.md) - [Versatile Dynamic Armchair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dynamic-armchair.md)
