# Canoodling Creature Drawings The Denise Nestor Illustrations Feature Animals Sleeping By Cody Turner | Published 2012-09-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/denise-nestor-illustrations References: [thefoxisblack](http://www.thefoxisblack.com/2012/08/27/denise-nestor-illustrates-the-circle-of-life/) & [denisenestorillustration](http://www.denisenestorillustration.com/) These Denise Nestor Illustrations will make you instantly want to cuddle these cute creatures. Made entirely out of pencil and paper, these stunning illustrations give viewers a glimpse at some of the world's most elusive creatives in a state of slumber. Drawn from the bird’s-eye view perspective, Denise has captured these woodland creatures and placed them in a circular position, making it look like they are almost intertwined as they lay among a bed of roses and flowers. A favorite of mine has to be the drawing of a small deer laying among a baby porcupine and some birds. All of those creatures would never be seen together, which gives this series of Denise Nestor illustrations such a captivating appeal. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Animal Illustrations:** Opportunity for artists to create unique and engaging animal illustrations that evoke a sense of emotion and cuddliness. - **Nature-inspired Art:** Opportunity to explore the beauty of nature through art, showcasing the intricate details and peacefulness of various flora and fauna. - **Intertwined Imagery:** Opportunity to experiment with the composition of illustrations by capturing animals in a circular position, creating an aesthetic of unity and connectivity. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art:** Artists can capitalize on the demand for adorable and captivating animal illustrations, catering to a wide range of consumers looking for decorative and emotionally appealing artwork. - **Home Decor:** Home decor retailers can incorporate nature-inspired art into their products, offering customers a unique and calming aesthetic to enhance their living spaces. - **Publishing:** Publishers can partner with artists who specialize in animal illustrations to create children's books and other publications, tapping into the popularity of adorable animal imagery among young readers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Canadian Animal-Themed Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/our-animals-maple-syrup-jar.md) - [Playful Cat Illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/open-meow.md) - [Creature-Inspired Home Good Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-jeffreys-loverboy.md) - [Realistic Sketch-Reflective Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-series.md) - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md) - [Drawings-Inspired Rug Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frames-collection.md) - [Cheekily Creative Bookmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illustrated-bookmarks.md) - [Almost-Extinct Animal Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fauna-series.md) - [Two-In-One Plush Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cute-animal-pillow-with-blanket.md)
