# Dehumidifying Eco Showers The Delta Shower Adapts to Different Spaces and Recycles Water Vapor By Amelia Roblin | Published 2018-09-04 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delta-shower References: [jumpthegap.net](http://www.jumpthegap.net/en/past-editions/2016-2017/winners/delta) & [behance.net](https://www.behance.net/gallery/58247249/Delta) One of the unique features of the [Delta](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-building) Shower system is innovative enough to share on its own, yet there are two particularly clever characteristics built into this environmentally friendly shower. The award-winning design by Kinga Grzybowska and Michal Hondo is separate from the [plumbed shower head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rorra-filtered-showerhead) that would be installed into the tiled wall of the bathroom –– this system comprises an upright mobile unit capable of enclosing the shower area and its drain. You can position the primary post of this unit wherever it fits in the washroom, and from it, you can extend two panels that form screens to keep water from splashing all over the room. These "curtains" collect condensed water, and once your shower is complete and the screens are retracted, the Delta Shower proceeds to [dehumidify them and the entire bathroom](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dyson-purifier-humidify) so that the air is is clear and dry. The process fills a receptacle in the unit, providing you with a reusable water source for watering your plants and more. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Dehumidifying Eco Showers:** The trend of incorporating dehumidifying features into eco-friendly showers promotes water conservation and improved indoor air quality. - **Mobile-enclosure Shower Systems:** The trend of utilizing upright mobile units to enclose shower areas provides flexibility in positioning and space optimization in bathrooms. - **Water Recycling in Home Showers:** The trend of recycling water vapor from showers for household use supports sustainable practices and reduces water waste. ### Where This Applies - **Bathroom Fixtures:** The bathroom fixtures industry can explore new designs and features for eco-friendly showers, such as dehumidifying systems and mobile enclosures. - **Home Improvement:** The home improvement industry can offer innovative solutions for water recycling in showers, including collecting and reusing condensed water. - **Sustainable Living:** The sustainable living industry can promote and develop products that integrate water-saving and air-purifying technologies, as demonstrated by the Delta Shower system. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Water-Saving Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alu.md) - [Accessible Shower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-showers.md) - [WiFi-Enabled Circular Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circular-shower.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Pressure-Sensitive Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shower-concept.md) - [Water-Saving Bathroom Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bergvattnet.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Naturally Inspired Body Dryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sumsei-air-shower.md) - [Two-in-One Spa-Like Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delta-faucet-hydrorain.md)
