Creation will keep them in clear view. Remove those promotional magnets you get in the mail from restaurants and real estate agents and opt for ones that will add a little pizzazz to your fridge. They are also a [craft project kids can make](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniverse-make-it-mini-from-scratch) and parents can proudly display on their fridge. This makes them both practical and a way to occupy your child's dwindling attention span. To make this Smarty Pant Paper Co. creation, you will need clear flat back marbles, glass domes, magnets, glue and of course glitter. The next steps are fairly simple and require you to dab glue on the marble's back and dunk them in glitter. In no time and all, these [glittery magnets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-nail-polish-strip) will be among the schedules, calendars and children's drawings that coat your fridge's door. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [DIY](https://www.trendhunter.com/diy) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **DIY Crafts:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a platform or app that offers step-by-step guides and inspiration for various DIY crafts, including glitter magnets. - **Kid-friendly Crafts:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a subscription service that delivers monthly craft kits specifically designed for children to engage in creative activities like making glitter magnets. - **Personalized Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a customizable online store that allows customers to design and order personalized home decor items, such as glitter magnets with their own photos or messages. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Craft Supplies:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce sustainable and eco-friendly craft supplies, such as biodegradable glitter, to meet the growing demand for environmentally conscious crafting. - **Subscription Boxes:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Launch a subscription box service that caters to DIY enthusiasts, providing them with curated craft materials and project ideas, including materials for creating glitter magnets. - **Custom Printing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a high-quality custom printing service that allows customers to print their own unique designs on magnets, expanding the possibilities for personalized home decor like glitter magnets. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Customizable Holiday Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merry-sparkles-outdoor-decor.md) - [Magnetic Building Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magna-tiles.md) - [Artful Seaweed-Inspired Bin Magnets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-edition.md) - [Sparkly Glittering Drink Enhancers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brew-glitter.md) - [Magnetic Toy-Like Writing Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetdabbles.md) - [Crystal Floral Arrangement Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-crystal-floral-kits.md) - [Vibrant Custom Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cliik.md) - [Therapeutic Fidget Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speks-magnet-balls.md) - [Aesthetic Interior Fridge Trends](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fridgescaping-guide.md)
