The three-dimensional paper-mounted shadow box displays are the work of Matt Hawkins of [Custom Paper Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-guitar-models). These delightful dioramas are being displayed to the public WonderGround Gallery at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California. Whether Hawkins is depicting the love between Wall-E and Eve, or exploring evil with Captain Hook and [Sleeping Beauty's Malificent](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleeping-music-generator), the depth found in these works is a perfect visual illusion on par with any of the movie studio's full motion works. The [House of the Mouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/passionately-and-obsessively-crafted-watches) has proven yet again that it finds the most creative people on the planet to show off their properties, and in extravagantly original fashion. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Paper Dioramas:** There is a growing trend of creating intricate and detailed paper dioramas as an art form. - **Disney Art:** Creating unique and innovative artwork inspired by Disney characters is gaining popularity. - **Three-dimensional Sculptures:** The use of three-dimensional sculptures made from paper is an emerging trend in the art world. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art:** The art industry can embrace the trend of paper dioramas to attract new customers and showcase unique creations. - **Entertainment:** The entertainment industry, especially movie studios like Disney, can explore the use of paper dioramas to enhance visual storytelling in their productions. - **Crafts:** The crafts industry can take advantage of the trend of three-dimensional paper sculptures by providing DIY kits and materials for enthusiasts to create their own intricate designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anniversary-Honoring Holograms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/walt-disney.md) - [Old Film-Honoring Puzzle Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tribute-camera.md) - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md) - [Intersecting Dimensional Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diorama.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [3D Toy Puzzle Castles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-castle.md) - [Block Puzzle Picture Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/100th-anniversary.md) - [Anniversary-Honoring LEGO Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/100th-anniversary-lego-sets.md) - [Diverse African Doll Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creativesoul.md)
