Lehanneur was inspired by New York City hot dog stands, of all things. Even though it isn't particularly appetizing to imagine [storing any personal belongings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kossebar) inside of a hot dog stand, there is something appropriate about the culinarily-named Delicious Storage. There are [four different size containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/center-center-storage) in the Delicious Storage series. Colors include silver, blue, green and beige; the pattern on each container is the same: completely reminiscent of that hot dog stand. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modular Storage Solutions:** Creating modular storage solutions inspired by unconventional sources like hot dog stands could introduce a disruptive innovation opportunity in the storage industry. - **Food-inspired Design:** Exploring food-inspired design concepts like the Delicious Storage line can bring a disruptive innovation opportunity to the home decor industry. - **Utilizing Iconic Imagery:** Incorporating iconic imagery, such as a hot dog stand pattern, into everyday products like storage containers can present disruptive innovation opportunities in the consumer goods industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Storage:** The storage industry can explore the concept of designing containers inspired by unconventional sources like hot dog stands for a disruptive innovation opportunity. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry has an opportunity to incorporate food-inspired design concepts, such as the Delicious Storage line, for a disruptive innovation. - **Consumer Goods:** In the consumer goods industry, incorporating iconic imagery like a hot dog stand pattern into products like storage containers presents a disruptive innovation opportunity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrant Food Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/food-storage-collection.md) - [Modern Magnetic Food Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cliik-food-storage-system.md) - [Adorable Luxurious Storage Compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-storage-compartment.md) - [Smart Kitchen Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultimate-hot-dog-steamer.md) - [Ship-Like Food Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/float-food-storage-container.md) - [Malleable Construction Food Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delione-flexn-fresh-container.md) - [Playful Storage Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berto-hidden-secrets.md) - [Metallic Multifunctional Storage Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabine-101.md) - [Funky Colorful Storage Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorful-storage-units.md)
