Entitled Dragging Drew, the Chia Zombie planter features a member of the undead dragging himself across the green earth. The greenery of the scene is what grows on this Chia Pet and helps add a pop of color to the otherwise [creepy scene](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deddy-bears) being created. The Chia Zombie decorative planter is handmade and will achieve full growth in about one to two weeks. The kit comes packed with enough seeds for up to three plantings, which means it can be brought out just for the Halloween season and put away afterward for the following year. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Gruesome Decorative Planters:** Opportunity to create a line of decorative planters featuring creepy and gory designs for those seeking unconventional decor. - **Revival of Retro Products:** Chance to bring back old-fashioned products like Chia Pets and give them a modern twist to appeal to a new generation. - **Seasonal Limited Editions:** Potential to release limited edition planters for specific holidays or occasions, such as Halloween-themed Chia Zombies. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to introduce unique and unconventional decorative items for homes. - **Gardening and Horticulture:** Opportunity to cater to a niche market of gardeners and plant enthusiasts who enjoy unusual and unconventional planters. - **Seasonal Decor:** Chance to create seasonal-themed decor items that cater to specific holidays and occasions, appealing to consumers looking for novelty products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fashionable Zombie Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zombaes-critter-chaos.md) - [Virtual Pet Planter Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-pot-concept.md) - [Multifunctional Plant Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-plant-planter.md) - [Compact Canned Houseplants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trader-joes-mini-can-foliage.md) - [Undead Easter Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sugar-plum-chocolate-zombie-bunny.md) - [Playful Body Hair Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/billie-chia-pet.md) - [Cult Film-Inspired Pet Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spot-1.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md)
