Dark shadows and distorted facial features give the pillows a sinister edge that is thrilling and arresting. A good way to add some dark glamor to a room is to place a couple of these artistic cushions on a [sofa or lounge chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo-lounge-chair), simultaneously decorating the furnishings and incorporating more artwork into a room. The designs are familiar in their old classical portraiture style, yet they revisit this aesthetic with a modern take that alters our perceptions on traditional artwork.
