If you're not a fan of death in general, I would steer clear of these photos, as they're a bit graphic once you realize that the animals aren't going to wake up. 'Dear Death' from Chris Moody is beautiful, albeit a little disturbing, but as Moody states at the end of his photo gallery, "[Without Death, What is Life?](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funeral-for-a-tree)" ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Life](https://www.trendhunter.com/life) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Animal Remembrance:** Opportunity for artists and designers to create alternative forms of animal remembrance using photography and visual storytelling. - **Eco-art:** Emerging trend of using photography to raise awareness about animal conservation and environmental issues. - **Memento Mori:** Growing interest in exploring themes of mortality and the cycle of life through artistic photography. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for artists and photographers to push boundaries and challenge traditional views of death and animal imagery. - **Animal Conservation:** Opportunity for organizations and advocates to leverage photography as a tool for promoting awareness and action towards animal conservation initiatives. - **Eco-tourism:** Potential for photographers to contribute to the eco-tourism industry by capturing and showcasing the beauty of wildlife and the importance of environmental preservation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Charming Creepy Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deddy-bears.md) - [Almost-Extinct Animal Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fauna-series.md) - [Mental Health-Supporting Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-last-photo.md) - [Humorous Macabre Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffin-office-chair.md) - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Post-Mortem Pet Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cirius-beam-projector.md) - [Horror Film-Inspired Cookbooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/death-for-dinner-cookbook.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Failed Digital Product Databases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dead-product-marketplace.md)
