It were to front on a major street, the Dear Ginza Building could not go unnoticed if you were to pass in front of it; however, this tall and slender structure is actually situated on a smaller city road. Because of its hidden position, the folks at the Amano Design Office endeavored to bring pedestrian attention to this edifice, so an eye-catching facade was necessary.

You cannot see the [glass curtain wall windows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiffany-co-store) that run up the height of the building because they're covered by an aluminum skin. The architectural mask is made up of [triangular pieces of punched metal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/darlington-public-school) that come together to make a [crumpled geoform surface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fractal-facade-house). For increased textural intrigue, the small circular perforations that speckle the Dear Ginza Building have been left out in places to suggest the natural shapes of flower petals.
