Designed by Chinese Jianjian Gao, this [wrist-worn alert](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-safety-bracelet) receives loud sound signals and transmits a vibration that can be detected by the wearer. It's unclear just how sensitive the Deaf Alarm Table is, but it can detect important warnings such as [fire alarms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hafi) and the kettle's whistle. Looking fairly intuitive to use, this [innovative safety watch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wheelchair-mode) is sure to keep the deaf in the loop. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Watches](https://www.trendhunter.com/watches) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Wrist-worn Alerts:** There is an opportunity for companies to develop similar wrist-worn alert products for other sensory impairments. - **Intuitive Safety Devices:** As technology advances, there is an opportunity for innovative safety devices that are easy to use and understand. - **Assistive Technology:** The Deaf Alarm Table demonstrates the growing need and opportunity for assistive technology for people with disabilities. ### Where This Applies - **Healthcare:** The Deaf Alarm Table could be used in healthcare settings to alert hearing-impaired patients of medical emergencies. - **Home Security:** Companies in the home security industry could adapt wrist-worn alerts to detect and alert users of suspicious activity or break-ins. - **Smart Home Technology:** The Deaf Alarm Table could be integrated into existing smart home technology to provide additional safety measures for people with hearing impairments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleep Safety Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hearo-system.md) - [Visualized Emergency Communication Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disaster-radio.md) - [Accessibility-Focused Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/routine-alarm-clock.md) - [Elegant Aromatic Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paramita-universal-alarm-clock.md) - [Intelligent Accessible Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamptok-light.md) - [Alerting Boiled Water Discs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-boil-alert-disc.md) - [Digital Visualized Feedback Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibra-instrument.md) - [Silent Wake-Up Wristbands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wakeband.md) - [Wearable Non-Verbal Assistive Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wearable-assistive-system.md)
