It is the newest addition to their food lineup. The D-bat dog is a corn dog that measures 18-inches in length. It also comes stuffed with cheese and bacon. Imagine indulging in this meaty treat alongside fries, cheese and bacon? The new D-bat dog can be yours this baseball season for a hefty price, but to some, this will be completely worth it. I enjoy corn dogs, but this one is a little too much for me. Stadium food has changed throughout the years, you now have a much wider selection. Team president and CEO Derrick Hall said that "We don't have any expectations for the D-Bat, but we'll look forward to seeing if it becomes popular with our fans.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Giant Food:** Opportunity to create larger-than-life variations of classic dishes, providing a unique experience for customers. - **Indulgent Eating:** Opportunity to create savory and over-the-top menu items that satisfy a customer's desire for extravagant comfort foods. - **Sports Venue Cuisine:** Opportunity to cater specialty dishes to the unique preferences of fans attending sporting events. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Food and Beverage:** Developing creative and unique menu items to attract customers and drive sales. - **Sports and Entertainment:** Providing unique and engaging experiences for fans attending sporting events and concerts. - **Hospitality:** Creating decadent and indulgent offerings to enhance the guest's experience and differentiate from competitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hybrid Cheesesteak Meals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corn-dog-cheesesteak.md) - [Ranch-Drizzled Corn Dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotnranch-corn-dog.md) - [Pizza-Flavored Corn Dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pepperoni-pizza-sausage.md) - [Dough-Wrapped Hot Dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pilot-flying-j-big-dog.md) - [Deep-Fried Cheese Hotdogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/footlong-mozza-dog.md) - [Chicken Tender Hot Dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-bos-bird-dog.md) - [Crispy Fried Chicken Hotdogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bos-bird-dog.md) - [Chicken Tender Hot Dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bird-dawgs.md) - [Extra-Long Hot Dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/half-meter-hot-dog.md)
