The vest features the Safeback SBX system that's engineered to deliver a continuous supply of air if the wearer becomes trapped by an avalanche to greatly elevate their ability to survive. The system doesn't rely on a mouthpiece to make it both more accessible and user-friendly in the event of an emergency. The DB Snow Pro Vest is rated to provide up to 90-minutes of fresh air yet doesn't maintain a very large construction to fit neatly onto the body in a lightweight fashion. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 20% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Sports](https://www.trendhunter.com/sports) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Lightweight Winter Sport Gear:** The DB Snow Pro Vest is a lightweight piece of gear engineered with the safety needs of winter sport enthusiasts in mind. - **Safeback SBX System:** The vest features the Safeback SBX system that's engineered to deliver a continuous supply of air if the wearer becomes trapped by an avalanche. - **Accessible Emergency Equipment:** The system doesn't rely on a mouthpiece to make it both more accessible and user-friendly in the event of an emergency. ### Who This Affects Most - **Winter Sports:** The DB Snow Pro Vest caters to the safety needs of winter sport enthusiasts. - **Outdoor Gear:** The lightweight construction of the DB Snow Pro Vest appeals to those seeking practical and efficient outdoor gear. - **Emergency Preparedness:** The Safeback SBX system offers a disruptive innovation opportunity in the field of emergency preparedness equipment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Under-Arm Rescue Floatation Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ua80-evolution-vest.md) - [Pro-Grade Heated Ski Jackets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heated-ski-jacket.md) - [Lifesaving Swimming Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swimming-vest.md) - [Lightweight Winter Sport Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/raide-lf-40l.md) - [AI-Powered Ergonomic Workplace Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/german-bionic-smart-safetyvest.md) - [Technical Smart Heated Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/x1-smart-heated-vest.md) - [Hydrodynamic Weighted Diver Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydrospine-freediving-weight.md) - [Airbag-Deploying Travel Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stan-airbag.md) - [Hybrid Vest Jacket Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/columbia-csc1938-dually-mountain-outerchange.md)
